• Anne Auty had an extremely successful junior career in Ontario under the guidance of Robert Meilsoe and Wayne McLellan. She competed in many equitation and medal classes and was a consistent winner in both in Canada and the United States. Anne was zone champion year after year in both the hunter and equitation divisions she competed in. She qualified for and competed in the Young Rider Championships and finished with a Bronze for Team Canada
  • After deciding to pursue a professional career, Anne rode for Robin Howard. Her patience and effective training methods have allowed her to develop young horses with tremendous success. She piloted many green horses to zone champion in the Baby-green, pre-green and combined hunter divisions
  • Anne co-founded and ran Greenhaven Stables successfully for the last 30 years before parting ways in 2019. During this time as the driving force behind Greenhaven Stables, Anne developed riders and horses of all levels. She was awarded the OHJA Hunter and Equitation Coach of the year in 2009 and was the first recipient of the Douglas Hood Memorial Award for Leading Trainer in its inaugural year.
  • Anne also pursued her senior judge’s card for both hunter and equitation and is currently waiting for approval for her senior jumper judge’s card.
  • Anne is widely known for her riding skills, her coaching, and respected by all who know her.
